Join us on Saturday February 26, from 12pm – 5pm for a self guided #NoVacancy window tour. Start your tour with a free cup of coffee at Arts Etobicoke, pick up the tour guide pamphlet, and make your way down Dundas St. to see our 9 window installations and end your tour with a free pastry from The Portuguese Bake Shop. All of the sites are walking distance from each other and a full tour would take under 30 minutes to complete! Plus you get to sample some amazing local treats!
Arts Etobicoke in partnership with the City of Toronto presents the Dundas Street West #NoVacancy project. The project features installations from nine different artists: Julia Prajza, Bareket Kezwer, Moises Frank, Yusra Mukhtar, Apoorva Varma, David Chinyama, Nelly Torossian, Natalie Very B., and Philip Cote reflected upon the question “What is Home?”, and gave us diverse multidisciplinary artworks that represent their unique perspective.
Participation is free, just show up at Arts Etobicoke between 12pm and 5pm to get your coffee and gift certificate*.
*The gift certificate is required to redeem your free pastry. All participants must start at Arts Etobicoke (4893A Dundas Street West) to receive their certificate.
